Product Review: Boo Boos Happen First Aid Kit with Topricin Junior

Yesterday I shared with you a wonderful post from Lou Paradise, president and chief of research of Topical BioMedics, makers of Topricin Junior. 

Now I want to share with you about a new product they have out, that is perfect to put in your child's backpack, your car, or any ready kit that you have: Boo Boos Happen First Aid Kit with Topricin Junior.

• a box of  'Ouchies' self adhesive bandages, that kids can decorate themselves, creating a design with the markers that are included. I had never seen these before- they are perfect for keeping your kid 'occupied' while you treat a wound. And for older kids, for making a bandage look 'cool' As you can see, on the right, they come in assorted colors as well.

I love this kit! Kiddo did too- as it is in her school's colors (ah, the cheerleading camp holdovers)! As her school pretty much has every first aid need covered (Kindergartners are notorious for injuries, LOL), we decided to use it for traveling and weekend use. It's perfect to slide some wipes and tissues into, and put in my carry bag for festivals, to put in the backseat for trips, or for sliding in a carry on bag! 

We have used Topricin Junior regularly since our initial review, and Kiddo loves the odorless cream, as it is cooling and soothing on most boo boos. And as you know, if you can get a child to sit still while you dress a wound, that is have the battle for wound care! We've found it to be just as useful as regular antibiotic cream at healing injuries, and keeping them infection free! 

It has SO many uses, including:

• Bumps and bruises- it has worked wonders on leg bruises, in quickening their healing
• Muscle spasm, leg cramps, and joint pain- especially from 'growing pains'
• Neck and shoulder pain
• Sport/Impact and falling injuries
• Bug Bites (mosquitoes, flies, bees, etc.)
• First aid from simple trauma (minor burns, strains and sprains)
