Synopsis: Head of an organization of elite spies, Dallas August is asked to
uncover what secrets a reclusive woman, Gwen Marsh, is hiding about a
mafia kingpin’s death. Dallas must pose as a bodyguard in order to get

Review: Alexandra is a wonder with the amount of books she has coming out soon! She is a woman who has alot of characters 'a callin' in her creative mind, and that is fine with me! I love this series and am happy it is segueing off into the Dallas series, as I'm sure Alexandra will keep him coming back to New Orleans! She captures a wonderful part of the culture of the city and wraps it around the plot line like a warm flannel coat in all of her books!
This was a very quick read- I finished in about 90 minutes! Course that could have been because I wanted to see what was going to happen next! I loved that Alexandra brought the story to the Northshore of NOLA (St Tammany Parish) this time. It is already interesting to try to guess which locales she is using in her stories! This is a wonderful little mystery that will keep you guessing til the end and a great NOLA read!

About the Author: Alexandrea
is a registered nurse from New Orleans area, who has been writing novels and
screenplays for over twenty years. Her first novel, To My Senses, was a
finalist for commercial fiction in Eric Hofer Book Awards, a finalist
for romance in the Foreword Magazine book of the Year awards, and a
finalist for romance in the USA Book Awards. Her second novel, Recovery,
won the Gold Medal for best romantic suspense from The Reader's
Favorite Book Awards and was named best Romantic Suspense by the NABE
Pinnacle Book Awards in 2011. Her third book, Sacrifice, continued the
Nicci Beauvoir Series. Her fourth book, highlighting her love of
rehabbing wildlife, called Broken Wings, is now out in paperback and
ebook.
Alexandrea is also a permitted wildlife rehabber with the
Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and when she is not writing, Ms. Weis
is rescuing orphaned and injured wildlife. She lives outside of New
