Book Review: Bombshell by Mike Faricy

Review: Ever start reading  a book and just KNOW you are gonna want to read the whole book RIGHT now, in one sitting? That's this book! I LOVE Dev! He's like Thomas Magnum combined with Shawn Spencer from Psyche, with a touch of Jim Rockford thrown in. But modernized. Hard to explain, but if you read the book you'll get it! And you WILLl be reading the book and totally picturing the tv series it SHOULD be in your head. Course it would have to be cable, and not a kids show, but still....Dev is flawed, funny, smart and NORMAL. His friends, and girlfriends, are weird (top points for having smart and capable women characters- the whole roller derby thing could have been characture, but Mike handled it greatly!), but funny and you just want the book to keep going on and on! I did guess the who pretty soon in, but I was entranced and wanted to see how Dev was going to solve the case and find out the motive! If you love 
detectives tales, this a keeper for you! I'll be getting the rest of the series as soon as I can!

About the Author:
Mike Faricy is the award winning author of mystery suspense thrillers woven together with a rich strain of humor and even some romance. He and his wife live in Saint Paul, Minnesota and Dublin, Ireland.

His entertaining tales are populated with the sort of quirky, oddball characters we’d all like to know more about, but wisely prefer to keep at a distance. They serve not so much as examples as they do warnings to the rest of us. None of his characters will be saving the world from terrorism, international banking conspiracies or coups to topple the government. Rather, they’re individuals inhabiting a world just below the surface of polite society.
