You know sometimes when you;re a blogger, you get offers to review items, that seem like JUST the thing you need RIGHT now! Case in point, the new Bic 4-Color pen offer from Smiley 360.
When I first heard about it, I was hoping it would arrive in time for me to use it for my late (ahem, VERY) Christmas cards. Nope. Ok, maybe before I wrote out our thank you cards. Well it DID, but I lost the dang thing and didn't find it til AFTER I had written them out- hello Murphy's Law! But I wanted to show you just HOW cool these pens are....
And then inspiration struck in an email re sampler coloring pages, and I knew I had found my muse!
But let me backtrack, as I know you're wondering, "what does she mean a 4-color pen"?
If you're over the age of 35, you will probably remember your mom and grandmom, and assorted teachers (grrrr) having these type of pens. The pens give you FOUR colors of ink to choose from- red, green, blue and black. Making it great for office work and teachers, as you always have different colors at hand (literally!)- just take a look at the picture to the right and I KNOW it will bring back memories! If you're NOT familiar with these type of pens, then basically you just click down on the color you want and viola there it is, want a different color, just click it instead, easy peasy!
The ink is regular ballpoint ink, with medium points, on all 4 refillable inks! Woo-hoo- good for the environment and good for your pocketbook! The ink is quick drying and pretty smear proof, making it perfect for students too!
So what was my inspiration?
Well it IS a new year, which calls for resolutions, so how about some creativity?
Waa...lah!
Is that pretty cool or what?
I have always loved doodling and unique coloring pages, so when I saw the blank page, I knew it was the best of both worlds, and perfect for showcasing MY 2013 resolutions, aka GOALS, and the wonderful colors of the Bic 4 color pen!
What about YOU?
