How we had NOT seen or heard ANY of Yancy's music before is TOTALLY beyond me!

I know that after only ONE listen to her new Jesus Music Box cd, Miss Grace was HOOKED. Hook, line, sinker, 100% Team Yancy! 

The ROCK, the drumbeat, the attitude (purple hair, hello!), and songs that as a Mom, I rejoiced in her singing along with at the top of her lungs (honestly, there is ONLY so much Fresh Beat Band one can listen to!). And when your child says that one of Yancy's songs off this new cd, is the prettiest song behind all time fave (that would be Keep on Dreamin by Eli Young Band, yeah she has some of my eclectic music tastes...), it makes you stop and go WOW. My kid is LISTENING an COMPREHENDING the lyrics.

Now you and I both know that today's pop music lyrics can be beyond risque (pretty much raunchy at times). Do you want an 8 yr old belting THEM out. NO way! Right? So if you have a Christian music singer who not only rock's out, she looks the part of a rocker, your kids are sure to take notice. This new album, Jesus Music Box, is aimed at the pre-teen audience. But truly it is appropriate for the whole family (seriously, how many albums can you say that about?). Miss Grace ADORES this cd- it has supplanted the latest Fresh Beat banks cd in the car stereo, Our God is her FAVORITE song to dance to- she claims it is the prettiest song EVER. Huh, hard to beat that when you're a parent!
