This last ebook from Le French Book is actually the one I most wanted to read, as the author has been compared to a female version of Michael Connely!

It is a roller coaster of a ride, that will have you turning pages pretty quickly! I had an idea who the suspect was about half way through, but no idea why, so the story kept me hooked. I really felt like I was reading an American Crime novel, which is no surprise, as the author says "First, when I was a child, it was Enid Blyton, and then came Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson and Michael Connelly. Early on, I also became a fan of American and British crime series, and I’ve always been drawn to American movies. " I would not be shocked to see this series adapted to a TV series soon!
There are 2 more books already in this series: Dent pour Dent (Tooth for Tooth), which was published in France in May 2011, and Déjeuner sous l’herbe (Have Lunch Under the Grass), which was published last May in France. I hope Anne will be translating them soon too, as I can't wait to read what happens to Nico next!!
