Have you heard about Suzie's?
If you have food allergies, your kid does, or if you just eat healthy, you might have! All their products are either organic or made from natural products. Period. And most of their products are made from Spelt and Kamut, both of which are easier for people with Gluten intolerances to tolerate and enjoy. They also have Gluten-Free rice products!
Suzie's makes a bunch of amazing, healthy products. PERIOD. Pretty much ones that our entire family has gotten addicted to. Seriously addicted to!
We were recently a good portion of their line to review and I have to tell you, I am SO impressed with this company! Not only are the items HEALTHY, they taste GREAT! EVERYONE in our family, and friends and coworkers, has loved every item they have tried! How often does that happen?
Miss Grace has to watch her milk products, as she tends toward a lactose intolerance, so I was happy tor receive the different quinoa 'milks'! We were sent Unsweetened, unsweetened vanilla and vanilla.

We've used them in Miss Grace's smoothies and she hasn't noticed the difference at all! Success! And because the two are unsweetened, they are perfect for her new diet!
Two other items are perfect for her diet: Rice Tops and Thin Rice Cakes!
She LOVES them! I love that I can give her a cracker, which she has always loved, but that is good for her and that meets her diet restrictions! The rice cakes come in 6 different flavors, so there is one that will make your kids happy too!
Their Kamut and Spelt Flatbreads come in 6 different flavors! My first thought was 'bark' (long story, do NOT ask how I know what bark taste like!), but once you get used to the ancient grain taste, they are pretty good, especially with a little cream cheese or other topping on them.
Now the saltine crackers are another story- I am ADDICTED to these crackers!
I pretty much claimed them ALL as MINE! Seriously! They come in individual packs of 8 crackers, and are SO fresh they practically fall apart! And the taste? Oh my! Just look at all their goodness!
Their Naan crackers are also pretty amazing (yes I know I keep using that word, but the taste of all of these products is JUST that! The cilantro/chili ones are perfect with your own homemade salsa! You might never go back to tortilla chips after tasting these!
They also have Multiseed and Sesame Breadsticks that are very filling and crunchy! They are great for late night snacking, as they are good for you, give you some healthy crunch, and are just the right portion size!
One of the products Miss Grace ADORES is not pictured- their Baby Biscuits (Cookies)! A brand new product, they are baby hand size, but suitable for her diet, and she loves having a 2-3 of them in her lunch for an added treat! They have a almost shortbread taste to them!
As great as these products all are to eat, straight from the box, plain, you can also cook with them!
See all that healthy yumminess? Yup- this is a HEALTHY meatloaf!
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground turkey
1 lb ground pork
1 can mushrooms, chopped or diced (your preference)
1 cup chopped bell peppers and/or onions
2 eggs
2/4 cp crushed Suzie's saltines (or breadcrumbs)
1/2 cp milk
1 package Bag n Season Meatloaf in Bag mix
1/2 cup homemade BBQ sauce or ketchup (if on diet, otherwise, use your preferred brand)
Directions:
1. Heat over to 350 degrees.
2. In large plastic bag, place saltines and crush
3. Beat eggs into milk in large bowl.
4. Add spices to mix, then saltines (breadcrumbs), mix well.
5. Add peppers, mushrooms, and/or onions, and stir well.
6. Add turkey and pork, in equal increments and mix (use your hands- it still works the best!), until all the meat is added.
7. let combined meat sit for 5-10 minutes to absorb flavors, then shape into load and place into baking bag, placed on cooking sheet.
8. Seal bag and place in oven, and cook for 60 minutes.
9. remove load from bag, place back on cooking sheet and coat with your preferred topping (BBQ sauce or ketchup) and place back in oven.
10. Cook meatloaf for about 15-20 minutes more, til top and sides are browned.
11. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then Cut and serve!
12. Receive compliments on how yummy the loaf is, while feeling smug about how many veggies your kids just ate!
When the 6 yr old wants 2 servings as the meatloaf is that good, you know it's kid approved! ENJOY!
