Synopsis:

Review:

Having lived in San Diego and having visited Tijuana many times, I was interested to see how the author handled the 2 settings.He more than rose to the occasion- all the writing is so descriptive, you will feel like you are right there in the story! Clark's writing reminded me of an earlier Alex Cross (whose books I love) and the characters will stay with you long after you put the book down, which you will NOT be able to do- I had to force myself to read it in 2 sittings! It is such a great rollers coaster of a mystery, taking you on different paths and then back again, so that you're eagerly flipping pages and holding your breath! This is an astounding debut novel, and I'll be looking for more books from the author!

Carlyle Clark was raised in Poway, a city just north of San Diego, but is now a proud Chicagolander working in the field of Corporate Security and writing crime and fantasy fiction.
