As you know. we're BIG fans of all things Quaker, when it comes to breakfast,
and especially breakfast on the go!
So I was very happy to be able to try their latest on-the-go breakfast item:
Quaker Breakfast Shakes:
With 8 g of whole grain oats, 10 g of protein, 6 g of fiber, these shakes give you energy and fill you up. But with ONLY 200 calories, they are a healthy way to start the day, especially if you are dieting!
As you can see above, they come in handy 4-packs, so you can have them all week long!
We were able to try Strawberry and Chocolate flavors (they also come in Vanilla):
As you can see, the shakes are rich and creamy! AND they taste as great as they look! NO chalky taste or weird aftertaste like some other breakfast shakes! And you don't have to shake them for 10 minutes before you can drink them (don't you HATE that?)
I found that they kept me filled up for a solid 3 hours, and gave me plenty of energy for busy Friday and Saturday mornings. And they were SO easy to drink while in the car- no hot or heavy cups to balance, and with the resealable lid, I was able to close the jar while going into a store, and then come back out and finish them! You have to love a company that knows what you need on hectic days!
And because they are low-calorie, they didn't interfere with my eating plan! And I don't have to spend 15 minutes making up a shake, that tastes as good as one of these! Even better!
