Synopsis:

Episode 1:

Cherringham - a quiet, peaceful town in the Cotswolds. Nothing ever happens there, or so it seems - until one morning a woman's body is found in the river. A terrible accident, according to the police. But is this really true? Sarah believes that there must be more to it. In Jack, a former NYPD homicide detective, she finds a partner who is willing to start investigating with her. And they soon find out that things are not as clear as the police wants them to be ...

This first case brings Sarah and Jack together. An unlikely partnership. But the first of many ...

Review:

There will be 12 episodes in this series, each priced at ONLY $1.99, with a new one released each month
(6 are available now, and you can preorder the 7th).

I loved this short tale! It's sort of a take on a 'Yankee in King Arthur's Court', only in this case the NY detective is in small town England! Sarah and Jack are a great team, with lots of 'Nick and Nora' style banter, that recalls the heydey of film! In fact, I would LOVE to see the series in film- it would be such a great idea! I was disappointed when the tale ended, as I had been enjoying them together so much, but then remembered it was a series of shorter stories (this one was 119 pages), and there were more tales to read! I sincerely hope when the series is over, they get bundled together too!

Check out this series and you'll be wanting to collect them all, as this one is highly addictive,
making them the perfect Summer treat!
