Ah Fall....not only is Halloween upon us (YEAH),
so is the cold and flu season!

You just said "Yippee", didn't you?

Old time thermometers may be handy, but when you have grumpy exhausted kids,
taking the time to get a true reading, isn't gonna happen.

The solution:
Exergen SmartGlow Temporal Scanner

The Exergen Smart Glow Temporal Scanner is an infrared thermometer which captures temperature by scanning the heat which is emitted from the forehead, via the temporal artery. This updated version of the original Temporal Scanner comes with four ways to make it even easier to take a temperature:

Exergen Smart Glow Temporal Thermometer 2

A softly illuminated display for easy reading in any light – perfect for checking the temperature of a sleeping infant in a darkened room. This is a HUGE achievement! Now you don't have to turn the lights on to be able to read your thermometer! Add to that the ability to turn OFF the Beeping sound, that indicates scanning, and you can totally avoid waking a sleeping child! Yeah!

The unit automatically retains the last eight temperature readings, for instant recall to check on fever progression- which is really important if you are monitoring the fever readings for the doctor's office! Plus for out international readers, you can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius modes, so the scanner can be used anywhere!

It is SO easy to use the unit! You just turn it on, wait for the beep, scan your child's forehead, and read the temp/ SO easy, even a child can do it! LOL.We've used other temporal scanners, and none of them read as accurately, or as fast as the Exergen!

Favored by renowned pediatrician and author Dr. Laura Jana for its ease of use, temporal artery thermometry is among the most accurate and convenient methods to take a sick child’s temperature – and it is backed by more than 50 clinical studies proving its accuracy.

The Exergen is sold in major retailer stores including WalMart, Target, Walgreen's, Rite Aid, Costco, Babies “R” Us, Toys “R” Us, Kroger and BJ’s. It is the perfect baby shower or Christmas present to give to new parents, as it is one they will use over and over, and think of your thoughtfulness every time they use it! We highly recommend it!

  9. No, I have never used one. I honestly don't think I saw one when my son was an infant, but it would be a great thing to give to my nephew for his newborn son of 2 weeks! Thanks for the chance and good luck to everyone.

  13. I have not. I have only used a regular mouth thermometer and they just have not been accurate for us. I would like something less invasive and more consistent.

  16. Everything! When it comes to keeping germs away from your little one these are perfect. Using infra red to test the area rather than having to place the product on the skin.
