We love personalized gifts for kids!

if your child has an alternative spelling, or a rare name, it is hard for them to find items with their name on it. And nothing is quicker to disappoint a child, than not being able to find their name on a rack of products!

This new personalized book is amazing and the gift book for the holidays!

Lost My Name is a new must-have, magical gift for children ages 2-6 (although I think kids up to age 8 might be enthralled as well)- a personalized book like no other, packed with fun stories and beautiful illustrations.

The company is different, in that is was started by 3 DADS and an Uncle who started a DIY project to make the best personalized kids book ever (we think they did a brilliant job of it!). They ended up making over 200 illustrations for all the letters that could possibly be in any child's name. HOW unique is that? You could order 3 books and they would have different illustrations and characters!

The books: “The Little Girl Who Lost Her Name” and “The Little Boy Who Lost His Name,” each tell the story of a child who sets off on a spectacular adventure to track down all the missing letters of their name. The real magic lies in the personalization-your child meets many characters along their journey, and are given the first letter of each character’s name, finally putting together their own name.

Every name creates its own unique, personalized tale featuring an incredible cast of different characters. Kids will love to meet the glamorous Ostrich, sleep-deprived Bear, a Viking who yearns to bake and a Zebra torn between spots and stripes – and many, many more. No need to worry if your kids have unique names or if their names are spelled differently than mainstream names. Each book can include the letters you want with thousands of possibilities! And the story itself is absolutely charming, sharing the morals of courage and friendship- something our kids need to hear more about!

Let's look at the adorable video from Lost My Name, that shows more about the books:

Each book is printed on thick, environmentally-friendly paper and bound by hand. You can purchase the book on the Lost My Name website for only $29.99, with FREE shipping, no matter where you live! You can't meet THAT price, now can you? And they each come with a wonderful intro page (mine is marked 'shhhh' as we're giving it  as a gift, and I don't want the recipient seeing it, yours would have your child's name in place of the banner),

  1. I love the concept and I know my son will enjoy a book that spells his name throughout the book.

  2. This sounds like such a cute book, my son would love me to read him a tale of collecting the letters of his name. This one is a bit more unique than the other personalized books I've heard about.

  3. I love how I can virtually "flip" through the books I can create for my kids, and can't wait to get my hands on the completed books themselves some day soon. The story uses the names in a seamless manner, woven onto a background of a fun adventure without being at all contrived, accompanied by beautiful illustrations. I'm sure my two little girls will quickly learn the letters to their names once they get hooked on their special personalized books! Hooray to the three dads who started this wonderful company!
