Today I have a very special DVD, that is being shown nationwide  at limited theatres, and is releasing on DVD on March 24th!

Synopsis:

Confessions of a Prodigal Son is a modern-day retelling of the Prodigal Son story that Jesus famously told.
It is a coming-of-age tale following Sean (Nathan Clarkson) as he rebels and leaves his home, family and father (Kevin Sorbo) to figure out life on his own. Two years later--while still on the journey to find life's answers--Sean suddenly finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew as he is confronted by a professor (Darwin Harris) who challenges Sean to see his life as a story; a best friend (Azel James) walking a dangerous path; and a strong and beautiful young woman (Rachael Lee) who is on her own journey to answers. Each one of these elements causes Sean to greater examine the choices he is making.
The story is one of drama, laughter, relationships, faith, and redemption, ultimately asking the question "Can broken stories have happy endings?"

Review:
This is a great movie to share with your family and your teen class at church. It touches on so many issues that teens have to face in modern life- fitting in with peers, drinking, relationships, struggling with faith, and the effects of social media. The movie talks about choices, as part of a theme from Sean's English class, and through Sean's action's and choices he sees how his choices are setting HIS story in motion and down its eventual path,  In the end it are those choices that cause him to reach back out to God, and then back to his family. It is a wonderful film that really should be seen by all teens, about how our morals affect out actions, which affect consequences and your future.

The movie being released prior to Easter is perfect, as it allows parents and adults to show teens about God's grace, and how Jesus' death was for them, and that they will always be welcome back within God's arms, It is a very important message for teens, who are most likely to walk away from the church, to remember- God is always here for you:

We highly urge everyone to get this DVD and share it with friends and family!
