Brush Buddies, a brand that we love and have shared with you many times, the world’s leading provider of entertaining and educational oral care products, revolutionizes the toothbrush aisle with the launch of the 90 Day Brush, the first-ever manual techy toothbrush that alerts brushers that it’s time to replace old, worn out toothbrushes for the same price as a regular toothbrush.

According to the American Dental Association, the average user changes their toothbrush every eight to nine months, instead of the dentist recommended three months. By replacing a toothbrush every 90 days, this helps reduce the spread of germs and bacteria that causes bad breath, tooth decay and even gum disease. Ok, I gotta admit, I probably change my brush out every 4-5 months. Miss Grace is another story. I have never seen a child destroy a brush as much as she does, even when she isn't brushing hard! But she's approaching tweenhood and we were looking for a fun toothbrush that wasn't 'babyish'.

90 day brush lcd sceen message

The Brush Buddies 90 Day Brush has a built in LCD screen on the handle that shows users daily dental tips for the first 90 days.  It's hard to get a decent picture of the messages, but I was able to get most of this one. Miss Grace delights in seeing what her new message is every day, which means she WANTS to go brush!

90 day brush bristles

The brush is easily activated with a simple touch on the handle below the screen. It features angled soft bristles that are gentle on the gums, and that are highly recommended by dentists! The contoured handle is really comfortable to hold, and Miss Grace has declared it her favorite toothbrush! After the 90 days are up, the brush will display fun daily messages such as “Ewww this brush is gross” and “Change your brush already” to continually remind you it’s time to get rid of that old brush. Miss Grace is already on me to purchase her replacement, so she will be ready for when that message comes up! She loves this brush and your tweens/teens will too!

The Brush Buddies 90 Day Brush is now available at CVS, Rite Aid and other mass retailers, check the Brush Buddies finder for one near you! They come in 4 colors- red, purple, black and blue, so you can get a different color for everyone in your household. You can also purchase them online at www.BrushBuddies.com

  1. I do try to change my toothbrush, but it might not be exactly every 90 days. I do throw them out though.
