Review;
This is the second book with these 3 cubs from Donna, the first being I love You All the Same, which we reviewed last year. Aimed at kids ages 0-4, this book, like the first, has adorable drawings from Allison, and a wonderful rhyming text made for reading out loud. I love the message of how much parents love their children equally,no matter how different they are. While reading this book I kept thinking it would be a wonderful book for foster/adoptive parents to read to a young child, who may feel that they aren't always loved when they misbehave, and who questions if they are loved the same as other children in the household. The book teaches kids that even adults can make mistakes, but it's by acknowledging them and understanding the wrong, that we move on and forgive one another, which is as Jesus taught us! If you are looking for a great shower gift for a foster child/adoptive child, be sure to include these 2 books, the parents will thank you!
