And now for a kids bible story book that is different and engaging!
Synopsis:
Eight Bible stories are depicted in bright color and comic, cartoony illustrations. There is a sentence or two explaining the scene at the top, and then details to spot, mistakes to find, and questions to answer along the sides of the picture, such as, "Did Noah's workmen REALLY have power tools?" and "How many rabbits are in the picture?" Children will love scouring the illustrations to find the answers and spot more amusing details in the busy artwork of Emiliano Migliardo.
The stories included are Noah and His Great Ark, Moses Crossing the Red Sea, Joshua and the Fall of Jericho, David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lions, Jonah and the Big Fish, Feeding the 5,000, and Man Through the Roof.
Review:
This is a fun book that is perfect for getting kids INVOLVED into a bible story! The pictures are reminscent of 'Where is?" books, that you have to find the mistakes on every page and a teddy bear placed in every one!
Also included on every page is the relevant bible passage, so as a family you can read the actual story. Also on each page are questions about the bible story, that tests your kid's comprehension of the story. The questions also ask your kids to think outside the box and look behind the story, like "which workman do you think is having the most fun (on Noah's Ark)'. Each tale has something hilarious in it, that will make adults giggle along with their kids, like this:
The question of did they have 'rock' bands when the walls of Jericho came down, will get your kids to thinking about puns and what happened after the story!
This is a a fun book that the entire family will love, don't miss this one!
