Ah,  Back to School....

Now that we're a few weeks in, you may be experiencing that sinking feeling that your computer, or your child's, may not be up to snuff and able to handle the school year.

Sigh...

What's a parent to do?

Head on down to your local Walmart!

Did you realize that Walmart is your #UpgradeWithIntel source?

It is!

I recently checked out Walmart's line of Intel powered machines, as my old laptop is running Windows Vista (I know, I know) and it's time to upgrade, so Miss Grace can start using it for homework and reports, or to find a new laptop to replace it, which I'm being told is probably the better option.

Did you know you can get clearance and refurbished laptops too? Yup, no matter what your budget is, Walmart has an Intel laptop to fit your needs!

The best pick we found was the HP Flyer Red 15” Laptop. Miss Grace liked it because it's a) red like her dance team colors and b) has a larger screen and more power. I liked it best due to its Intel Pentium N3540 processor, a decent 4GB of memory; a 500GB hard drive for plenty of picture and video storage, a 15.6" HD BrightView WLED-backlit display that means she can use it outside with ease, a Webcam for sharing live step instruction with her dance instructor, a SD card reader to upload all her pictures easily, and WiFi capability, so she can log on anywhere she can get a good signal, like school. At under $300, it's less than a third of what I paid for my laptop, with almost the same setup! Which also means it is THE pick of the deals available right now (really almost like a STEAL!!!).
And speaking of a steal.....
