It is easy to put the Alaska Bear Adjustable Ankle Support on. You put your heel in the opening and the wrap your ankle keeping the waved silica gel edge on the back of your leg, which keeps it from sliding up and down your leg.
Once you velcro the top around your ankle, then criss cross the bottom straps around the side of your ankle, and waala, instant support!
As you can see, it comes down your foot pretty well, to offer that great stabilization for your ankle.

I had severely bruised the top of my ankle bone, so I had been looking forward to using this ankle support on myself, but the heel opening was a bit too small, and due to the swelling in my ankle, I couldn't wrap the first section over. I was able to get the cross part over, so if it had been a tad wider on the top section, it would have fit! However, as you can tell from the pictures above, Miss Grace was more than happy to add it to her dance bag, for when she needs it (and in Irish Dance it is not only an inevitability, it's a probability!).
Another great thing about this support brace is that it is super easy to wash! You can wash it by hand or machine (in cold water), and then just hang dry, and it's ready to be used again! Just remember to NOT put it in the dryer. But it hangs dry VERY quickly!
