This is the perfect short story for when you need a break over the days leading up to Christmas. You get it all, romance, police procedural and a mystery within a mystery! If you've ever spent Winter in the South, the first few pages will have you hooked, with JT's description of the varied weather and feel. By then you're hooked on the character and ready to see what the story will be, and then it comes. And wow, as a reader you're guessing different lines where the story is going and JT sends you down a different path!
