As you've probably noticed, I've had a bit less engagement with this blog. With Miss Grace in her final year of high school, running her everywhere as she travelled the state with her last queen title, getting her through driving lessons (!!), adopting a rescue dog with a LOT of trauma to overcome and working full time, life has been a bit hectic. We both lost our fathers in the past year as well, and that has left both of us emotionally drained and with a lot on our plates. To be honest, I've gone back and forth whether it was time to end it...
If you've been with us forever, THANK YOU, your continued support means SO much!!! Ultimately, I decided to keep it going a bit longer, but with changes. Yes, the blog is changing from a hands on parental blog with kiddie reviews, to one for us older folks. Reading has always been HUGE to us, so it will continue to be a mainstay here on the blog. I hope to share more crafting, cooking and yes, maybe some house hints or two, as they come our way. We're hoping as Miss Grace moves into a new phase of her life, she can be more of a contributor, and once my house projects get done, I can too! We're also hoping to revise Wordless Wednesday, and possibly add some vlogging in too!
While we may be offering less giveaways, there is a big change for the ones we do. Our last Top Shelf giveaway will be the last on Rafflecopter. Unfortunately, Rafflecopter is ending on October 1st, so from this point on, all our giveaways will be compiled via Giveaway Tools. It's a minor change, but one to be aware of, as it will start with today's new Top Shelf Fall Giveaway!
And speaking of minor changes, we'll be trying some minor tweaks here and there for ongoing blog items and designs- some updated graphics, better colors, etc.
