Sterling Books sent me a super book to review for them and we were so enchanted with it, that I contacted Sterling and asked if I could get a copy to give to one of my readers! And they said yes, so here it is- the perfect Earth Day Book!

Within the visually complex design of the ecosystem mazes, she has hidden over 350 animals – placing each in its proper environment.  The answer key at the back provides not only their hiding places, but a great overview and fascinating facts about the ecosystem.

Review:  I'm not sure who was more enchanted with this book-my daughter or I!  She loved the mazes and some were simple enough that she had no problem finding the path. Others she needed help on. She had fun finding animals and I can tell this is a book that will GROW with her and be one of her favorites! It is perfect for a class activity/discussion, and super for rain-days at home as well! The illustrations are just STUNNING!

You can view a few examples of the mazes on Munro's website -the samples are in black and white (so your child can color them in), but you can see the attention to detail! She also has a different page that teaches kids to make their OWN mazes!
