Review: This book was really interesting- I had no idea that many of our common phrases date back to the Civil War or Victorian times, or even older times! Granted the meanings have changed somewhat as they became common usage and then slang for similar but alternate definitions!

Example: Every Dog has It's Day: first appeared in R. Taverner's writings in 1539, then later in Shakespeare's writings. It means everyone will have THEIR chance. Now for YOURS!
