If there is one thing I am beyond anal about, it's Thank You cards. I had kiddo 'signing' thank you cards at age 1! It was thoroughly ingrained into me my mom and grandmas that thank you cards WOULD be sent for any acknowledgment needed for gifts, services or time together! Poor kiddo already knows she has to do the same! My friends and I laugh at each other, as we are always sending each other thank you cards and/or emails after we get together. Other friends can't believe we STILL do this. SIGH, I'm afraid it's a lost art!
I recently received a very elegant Thank You card in the mail from Olivia deBelle Byrd, author of Miss Hildred wore Brown, thanking me for my book review here on this blog, and inviting me to her local book signing. WOW was I shocked! An ACTUAL paper thank you card. PLUS she sent me an email. YUP- she's 100% Southern!
So when Pear Tree Greetings sent me an adorable sampler of their new Thank You cards, as part of the Pearista Blogger program, I was over joyed for new cards to use!
I love the Orange Tapestry Collage Thank You card for post Halloween and Thanksgiving thank yous- it is SO elegant and fitting for the season!
I think my favorite for post- Christmas/Christmas presents is the Multicolored Tree Print. It is small and very cute! You can have it personalized with your family name, or 'Thank You', like mine was! They are perfect for kiddo to use and I am probably going to order a set for her! But I also like the Evergreen Treasures card for it's unique design and envelope! I think it would be perfect for thank yous for dinner/party hosts and those you stayed with over the holiday season!
