Synopsis: Holly Fisher opens her door one day and finds her estranged sister Hannah standing there with a glassy look and her nine-month old baby on her hip. Before Holly knows what is happening, Hannah has left her baby with Holly and disappeared. About the Author: Julia is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of numerous historical romance and women’s fiction novels.  She is a four-time finalist for the prestigious Romance Writers of America’s RITA Award for excellence in romantic fiction.  A native Texan, Julia lives in Austin. 

Review: I told ya'll that I had a ton of books to read and review!  This book is one of the highlights form that batch! I am normally not a huge 'romance' fan. BUT this modern take on an awkward situation and the relationships that develop was such a great read I didn't want to put it down- and didn't for 2 days! You may think the situation that starts the book is unique,but it really isn't.

London tackles alot of issues (addiction, sibling rivalry, divorce, child custody, laws for child welfare) that affect more families in our country than we like to admit. She does it with a great style and I can't wait to go read some more of her books (this was my first one). Her characters are well rounded, you feel as though you know them and can picture them in your town. She actually put into the book how TIRING an infant can be and how you can loose time and your mind from lack of sleep or creative thought! Can I get an amen for reality check? In fact, while reading this book, I was casting the movie in my head (FYI to future producers- you need Bobby Long as the singer for Light at Winter's End theme song-TRUST me!) . Oh yeah, I'm taking bets that it will be at least a Lifetime movie in the near future. There is too much great dialogue and drama for it not to be! So check it out today for a great Spring read!


PS- oh and the soundtrack for the "imaginary movie"? AWESOME- George (Strait), Reba, Carrie, Lady Antebellum, Bobby Long (title track for SURE).....oh yeah, it would be on my frequent play list!
