Recipe Weekend and Giveaway: Easter Cooking Set and Bunny Cupcakes

Everybody loves Easter for the great baking! And you know you'll be baking Easter treats for your childrens' classes and youth groups!

Today I am going to share a cute Easter cupcake recipe from the Sweet Treats cookbook that will be part of this giveaway today. Also in the giveaway will be a set of adorable Easter/Spring cookie cutters. THEN there will be a surprise! Yup, not gonna tell you- it will be a surprise for you and your kids!

Fluffy Bunny Cupcakes

Ingredients

1 pk white cake mix

1 tub/ 8 oz whipped topping, thawed

6 drops food coloring- any color

24 large marshmallows

2 tbsp colored sugar(you can make your own!)

Decorating gel

Instructions:

1. Prepare and bake cake mix according to its instruction on the package,making 24 cupcakes. Cool completely.

2. Tint whipped topping with color of your choice. Frost cupcakes with about 2 tbsp each of the topping.

3. Cut each marshmallow crosswise in half with kitchen scissors. Press cut sides of 24 of the marshmallows into colored sugar. Flatten each slightly for the bunny's face.

4. Cut through center of each of the remaining 24 marshamallows ti within 1/4 inch of opposite side, seperate pieces slightly to resemble bunny ears. Press cut sides of the marshmallows into colored sugar, flatten slightly.

5. Arrange faces and ears on tops of cupcakes. Decorate faces with decorating gel.

6. Chill until ready to serve. Cover and store any leftovercupcakes in refrigerator.
