Sometimes you need a little country in your Christmas! I've got 3 cds in my collection that fit that bill:
1. Amy Grant- Home for Christmas- Grant has had numerous Christmas albums/cds, but this one released in 1992, is an all-time favorite (It has Emmanuel on it, my favorite song of hers)- her style is easy and light, and it's very easy to find yourself singing along without realizing it!

Everyone forgets that when Marie was singing full-time she was a country artist, as we see her on TV, and not in anything country related, BUT she was a very popular country artist and she has not forgotten her roots on the Christmas cd. It's an enjoyable album, no great stretches, but great background music for a party!
So go a little country and check out these cds! You won't regret it, I Swear! (sorry for the country pun, coun't help it!)

Released in 2006 as a Hallmark special cd, it's like a compilation of the best from his many Christmas cds! George is always George- steady and true. The album is pleasant and easy to listen to as he doesn't stray too far from traditional arrangements. The countriness comes thru in the instruments used and his classic Texas twang.
