I was given the opportunity to host a Digiorno House Party this past Sunday (woo hoo!!) and I wanted to share how great it was and convince ya'll to sign up for Houseparty.com yourselves!
This is the 2nd House Party I've been able to host) the first was Gevalia-yummy too!)
In my House Party kit I received :
- a delivery style-Digiorno home delivery pizza box (which unfortunately only fits medium pizzas-but I had an idea for it, you'll see!)
- coupons for SIX free LARGE pizzas
- 12 coupons for $4 off (yes $4 off) Digiorno pizzas
- a really cool nylon type plastic Digiorno hand roll type pizza cutter
- BEADS- you know in LA. we LOVE our Mardi Gras beads!- we got 20 of em, all red and shiny with Digiorno medallions attached!
- stickers to put on the medallions
- cool football shaped clippie style magnet
- a football shaped Digiorno hot pad/potholder
So the menu was:
- Homemade Spinach Dip and Homemade Seasoned Crackers (recipes forthcoming on a Recipe Weekend post-don't worry!)
- Digiorno Spicy Chicken Supreme, 4 Meat Flatbread Style and 4 Cheese Style Pizzas
- Mozarrella Sticks and Sauce
- Garlic Breadsticks
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
- Vanilla Cupcakes

Our guest list was alot bigger originally, but once the Saints made the final playoff game, there were alot of parties set up and family always comes first, so we lost the friends! Oh well, more PIZZA for the rest of us! LOL. We played a couple of Touchdown games- go hubby and Mom-in law- they won coupons! Those rally beads came in handy- the prize winner for the end of the night with the last comment that matched the stickers was Mom with the "Cheese Lover" sticker (she declined a photo though, pooh).
Course the only thing that got us all through the last 20 minutes of that nerve racking game was SUGAR! Ya see how I used the delivery box? Cookie cake time!Ya gotta love Pauls Bakery in Picayune, MS- they do some great work with icing don'tcha think? Don;t be mean- they had combo king cakes with black and gold on one end and yellow and purple on the other, but that cake just CALLED our names, and darling daughter picked out the cupcakes cause they had black and gold sugar crystals!
Course daughter said it wasn't over til we blew out some candles on the cookie cake, cause we had to celebrate- so she did!And please note, she was dressed head to toe in SAINTS- girl knew who she was rooting for! Musta worked- they won!
So we all had some fun, got to try some pizzas we never had tried before, and had a 'super' fun football party, thanks to Digiorno!
