Wanna learn the bagpies? How to play drum for a Pipe group?

This is one of those, HAVE to pass it on, cause you just never know WHO might be interested!

Who: Father of Water Pipes and Drums
When? Feb. 27, 2010
Where? Christway Church of God, Flowood, MS

I can personally vouch for Father of Water Pipes and Drums, after meeting them in 08 at the Celtic Fest in Jackson, MS. ALL the members are very nice and very patient- even to point of trying to teach a 1 1/2 yr old the basics of blowing into a bagpipe, after she became 100% FASCINATED by them (hugs and thanks again to Katie McKlemurry (right) and Jean Orcutt!) - any clue how hard it is to follow a pipe band on parade with child in stroller shouting "Mama, go go, pipes, drums, go!"???? Good thing she's cute and dressed to kill (see pix), it helped get us to the front of the crowds :)
And YES, that is a Clan MacNeill shirt (thanks Cafepress-where you really CAN find anything you're looking for!)-- Live with it-Scots rule! :)

(And if you're interested, the toddler Blackwatch kilt is available at Sport Kilt-can't say enough about the quality of their kilts-the baby kilt is supposed to fit up to a 2 yr old, but we'll probably get up to 4 yrs old, thanks to darling daughter being on the really slim side! Love love love the company!)

Anyhoo, on to the particulars:

Hope you all can make this event. Many have been asking over the last several months when we were having one, so now we are!!! Looking forward to seeing you all.
