Now I'm NOT one to cause a scene, NORMALLY .....
But I'm really really irked and po'd that for all the hullabaloo about The Princess and the Frog movie, that DISNEY in their infinite wisdom has NOT included ANY type of bonus with the dvd that is being released RIGHT before EASTER.
Really?? EVERY other freakin Disney cartoon movie that gets released on DVD has SOME sort of plush character (aka Madagascar) , jewelry box and necklace (aka Tinkerbell) or extra dvd (aka Ratatouie), but OH NO not for Princess and the Frog!
I just DON'T get it............no stuffed frog or alligator or firefly....no preview cd of music from the movie...
no special dvd of the making of the movie and info on New Orleans locales.....no necklace (can't you just see HOW cute a frog necklace woulda been?????)......color me CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!
JUST like there was no true tie in with McD's when the movie came out..........maybe that will happen when the dvd comes out, but if it's like the Penguin one they just had , doomed to failure- our area McDs never got enough to satisfy normal amount of Happy Meals, and started giving kids the Ice Age figures they had 2 rounds before, go figure....
I'm not gonna go down the racial path, but really ya gotta wonder, WHY NOT??????????
Now you CAN get the bonus moving postcard, IF you order thru Disney Movie Club online, but you're gonna pay another TEN dollars for it. Thanks, we'll pass....
Now this may get me banned from Disney Moms Social Blogger event next year, but I feel like I need to speak up for all the kids who are happy to see a Princess who looks LIKE them, but don't get any bonuses.....BE FAIR Disney!
