Mail Box Tuesday: Wins I received recently!

It's been a SLLLOOOWW past couple of weeks and NO samples in the mail! Pooey!

So I thought I'd share some items that I won during the past couple of weeks off blogs that I follow! (yes, Virginia, us bloggers support each others' giveaways by entering them at breakneck paces just like you do! LOL)  (oh and yes, I'm using the makers photos, as I did NOT have time to take photos before realizing I needed them asap at 1030 pm for post in the am! So, NO that is NOT me below- though I DO like the models hair color thing she has going on!)

1. Toile Tales Adult 'Darling' Crocheted hat- I won this one over on Beach Brights Blog (she has the BEST craft/sewing book reviews!)- I decided munchkin had enough hats and it was MOMS turn! Don't you just LOVE the color- it really is JUST as bright in person! I got the matching flower, as it just needed that extra pop! It is SO perfect for those coll spring days! And more importantly it fits,  perfectly! Which is saying alot as I have thick hair!Course munchkin said it was pretty and she said it was perfect for Momma, but I could see those wheels a turnin...something tells me I'll be having to get the matching toddler hat soon! LOL

Toile Tales goes form infant to adult, so you can find something for EVERYONE in your family-and in super colors too!

2. Hearts & Home Bib Apron which I won on the Wee Share Blog- this is one of those throwback aprons that looks like you stepped out of Laura Ingall's pioneer land, BUT it covers you COMPLETELY and as it is white cotton, it can be BLEACHED to remove stains. AHA, they all say! The best part is that Margaret contacted me to check bust and dress size to make sure we had the right sizing, so it WOULD cover completely. Best news- it does! Plus it fits my mom as well, so both of us can where it while cooking. Am I gonna wear it all the time, Nope. BUT for holidays and special events (ie Oktoberfest!), definitely will wear it. PLUS if I ever need it for dressing up like a pioneer at daughter's school, I'm GOOD!

The apron also comes in cream. plus she has typical aprons AND been more old=fashioned ones! Looking for a period costume? Margaret can set you up! Her prices are excellent for Pioneer, Colonial, and Victorian dresses AND underpinnings! Her bonnets are too adorable!

So go check out 2 of my favorite blogs and the great sellers!
