In celebration of National Library Week April 11-17, the Mississippi
Department of Archives and History is highlighting its collection of
more than 1,500 published maps documenting the state’s history from the
late sixteenth century into the twentieth century. This online exhibit
features some of the rare and hand-colored maps from several periods in
Mississippi’s history, including early exploration, territorial expansion, statehood, and Civil War. Scroll down the page HERE to click on the link
