Recipe Weekend: Easter Brunch Cappuccino Bars

Bisquick Cappuccino Bars
These are super quick and super easy!

Prep Time: 15 min  Total Time: 40 min 

Bars:
1-1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins (or other dried fruits, ie cranberries)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (I used walnuts but pecans would be excellent)
1/2 cup water
2 T. instant coffee (OR you can you instant espresso for more punch!)
2 T. shortening (I used butter with no prob.)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg

Glaze:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1-2 T. cold brewed coffee or milk

Heat oven to 350°.

Grease bottom and sides of 13x9" pan with shortening or cooking spray; lightly flour.

In medium bowl, stir bar ingredients with spoon until well blended.

Spread in pan.Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients until smooth and thin enough to drizzle.

Drizzle glaze over warm bars.

Serve warm or cool.
