Ecostore contacted me recently and offered me a couple of products to review. I'm always on the lookout for great products that can save me money, so this seemed like a great opportunity to try out their products!

"Our eco friendly, plant-based household cleaning products are as effective as the leading supermarket brands, and our body and baby care ranges are gentle on your skin and are simply beautiful to use. All of our products are made from plant- and mineral-based ingredients, free of toxic chemicals that bring people closer to nature with non-toxic, environmentally safe solutions that also help to reduce our carbon footprint.

Our products also help to ensure value for the dollar for our customers.  Our super-concentrates means that a little really does go a long way - saving you money by cutting down significantly on cost per use."

First I received the EcoBaby Bath Soap. We've always used lavender based products on our daughter, as they soothed her and helped her sleep. It's been hard finding a great toddler soap WITH lavender in it- I want something gentle but good enough to clean up all the dirt and grime she gets into (gardening is hands/feet/body on in our house!).

The soap from Eco is a plant-based bar with such as Goat's Milk, Wheat Germ and oil of Lavender, for a mild, relaxing Baby Soap. Rich in Vitamin E, it is rich and creamy and a great skin softener, besides getting her squeaky clean! For $4 you get a 2.9 ounces bar that lasts and lasts! We both really like this soap- I think we've found a great soap for her for daily use!

Secondly I received the  Top Loading Laundry Powder. I don't know about you, but it seems like laundry detergent keeps going up and up in price, yet just doesn't seem to CLEAN as well as it used to. Plus they keep changing the smells and you never know what the bottle will smell like! Not to mention good luck finding your favorite formula, as the stores are playing revolving brands/formulas and you may be hunting for awhile! We're about to start making our own, so I was really interested in trying the EcoStores brand!

The high performance Laundry Powder consists of simple mineral salts and plant-based ingredients which make it easy to clean even the filthiest clothes. Its natural lemon fragrance will not harm or irritate the skin (boy isn't that a plus! Both my Mom and I have skin sensitivities and you never know if a certain soap will both you til you buy it!) And I don't know about you, but the 'fragrance free' ones always seem BLAUGH.. The powder has NO NASTY CHEMICALS and provides a safe, healthy alternative and at 35.3 ounces per box, you should get about 26
loads per box.

WOW does this stuff clean! I tried it first on a load of towels (always the safest bet when trying new soap!) and I could NOT believe how much cleaner they seemed. When I pulled them out of the washer and smelled them, they smelled FRESH and CLEAN in a pure way if that makes sense! As we don't use fabric softener on our towels (takes away absorbency), they came out of the dryer smelling the same- CLEAN! next up was a load of perma-press. This did get downy added for rinse cycle. I checked the laundry just prior to rinse cycle and you would NOT have believed the DIRT that the powder removed! Easily as much or more than using normal liquid detergent! Next up was a load of sheets on cold cycle. No softener, as I use sheet spray (lavender-verbena) on them. Again, I could not believe the amount of dirt the powder pulled off! Even on a load of whites the powder really did the job. Now on heavier loads and the whites I did double up on the powder, per instructions.

I have to admit, I am sold on the laundry powder! After getting used to putting the powder in first, waiting for it to get liquid, then adding clothes was an adjustment, but after 2nd load was no big deal!

EcoStore also has Baby Shampoo, Baby Bath, Baby Balm, Baby Moisturizer, Coconut and Vanilla Soaps, Lemongrass Soap, Orange and Patchouli soaps, Rose and Cardamon soaps, Hair Shampoos and Conditioners, All Purpose Kitchen Cleaners, Dishwashing Liquids, Detergents, Toliet Cleaner, a version of Oxygen Laundry Cleaner and Pet Shampoos! All are at pretty reasonable prices too!

So check them out today!

Disclosure: These soaps were sent to me free of charge, for review purposes, by EcoStores USA. I was not told how to review them however. Please remember, that like all cleaning products, what works for ME, may not work for YOU, as we are all human and DIFFERENT!
