Book Giveaway: Hanging by The Thread by Donald Anderson

You know me- I LOVE it when an author contacts me about a review of their book that I did- especially when they let me know they checked out the rest of the blog and have very nice things to say :)  We all love positive affirmation, yes?

So when Donald contact me about my review of his book Hanging by the Thread and offered to share a complimentary copy with one of my readers, as I was holding onto my review copy! HOW cool is that? 

I asked Donald if he wanted to pass on anything more about the book and he was kind enough to send the following:

"Three years ago, I finally decided to write a book. I didn't know anything about writing, really. 

But I did have a great love and passion for freedom. I decided to write a book that would teach the principles of freedom--especially economic freedom--to a wide range of people. I also thought that people would enjoy learning those principles much more if I could use an intense thriller to do it. So I sat down, plotted out the story and the ideas I wanted to teach, and went to work. I have learned a lot in the process and count myself very blessed that my first attempt made it to bookstores. What a ride it has been!

When I decided to teach freedom in a story, I created a scenario where a secret society's aim would be to take over America from within by destroying freedom in little increments. But what is sobering about Hanging by The Thread is the fact that so much of the economic plan of the bad guys in my book is happening in real life. So, while it is an evil conspiracy in the novel, it is simply foolish policies and politics in real life. But the effects are the same. Our freedoms are cascading downward at an alarming rate. My hope is that this novel can help Americans understand freedom better than ever before and be motivated to defend it in wise and good ways."
