Do you like the new title post? Preschool Chronicles? I thought it had a nice ring to it, and we needed to change from Toddler Tales, now that somebody is in BIG GIRL SCHOOL!
I'm not sure what is harder on a Mom: the lack of sleep when the child is an infant, the sense of never having enough time to get everything done, the working mom's guilt, or driving AWAY from the school after dropping daughter off on her first full day.
Kiddo is happy and ready to flee from Mom to go to the 'fun place' and Mom is struggling not to cry as she realizes her BABY is no longer a BABY and doesn't need her anymore. WAAAAHHHHH !!!!!!! Is there anything worse for Mom, than driving away as kid skips to her classroom?????
The absolutely worse thing for Mom?
Yup- the silence! I now I'll get into the groove tomorrow, but today, the house seems so VACANT and STILL. No devilous motion, no screaming MAMA, no wanting to move onto another projects....
