Late last year, miniature pigs called teacup pigs became the new must-have pet (yes, I KNOW what you're thinking, but keep reading!).There are now hundreds of websites dedicated to these adorable pigs thanks to celebrity owners such as Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood, David and Victoria Beckham, Harry Potter's Rupert Grint, and Peter Facinelliof Twilight fame.They've been featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, and The Today Show.
Well ToyTeck decided to jump on board as well! Their new toy for the holiday season is just now hitting the shelves!
Teacup Piggies are six inch miniature versions of real Teacup Pigs. They speak over 20 phrases and each piggy comes with its very own teacup, accessories, and birth certificate. Fabulous wardrobes and playsets sold separately.

There are 7 different pigs, each with their own color teacup. We were sent Goldie, the rock star Piggie! She comes with her dish, a pretty pink bow, birth certificate and feeding bottle. And she has multiple features:
- 25 phrases and responses
- When you turn the piggy on its side, it falls asleep!
- Pet your piggy for a giggle and laugh!
As you can see, kiddo and Marley were both impressed with the packaging, which, after your remove the piggie and their items (take a valium first, it will be easier-LOL-typical kids toy locked down TIGHT), can become a cute carrying case for them!
Once we got Goldie out of the package, kiddo deemed it Feeding Time, as Goldie was hungry after all that traveling! I didn't even get a chance to turn her on! (FYI, they come set on test mode, you have to switch them to ON, or you won't get all the features!)

As you can see Goldie was very HUNGRY! Daughter petted her and she relaxed, but then the 'milk' kicked in and she was AWAKE!
This actually started with a kiss on the nose by kiddo to Goldie, which started her talking!
The talking sorta freaked Marley out as you can see on the right! She was very cute- kept cocking her ears and looking at the pig, like 'this can't be real, right?' Kiddo thought her hilarious and had to go thru ALL 25 phrases immediately!
AH but then Nap time was upon us, after the Rock Show of course (oh and in case you're wondering, she sang Preschool hits of Twinkle Twinkle and Jesus Loves Me. HA! Daughter loved how the piggie snored when placed on her side! MOM loved that it stopped after a couple of minutes (yeah, no run down of batteries and searching the house for the toy to turn it OFF, when kiddo goes to bed!)

Daughter really liked her piggie- she now hangs out with the Alligator and turtle from the Aquarium and her teddy bears! AKA, well liked toy! These are really cute toys and perfect for Christmas!
