Sometimes you get sent a book for review that is just so STUNNING, that when you get it, you don't even want to open it all the way, you just want to enjoy the first page you open! A Christmas Carol: A Pop-Up Book is one of those books! This book is PERFECT to give as a family present, as a hostess gift, or as a teacher's present. it is beautiful on the outside and when you open it up it is even better!
This is an oversized book, but also a condensed one at the same time. Each page has a gorgeous pop that illustrates the section of the book, that the small booklet, that is in its own pocket, covers. The full story from Charles Dickens is there, but the pop up is guaranteed to keep the younger crowd amazed. Sorry by pix didn't come out better, there is so much to pop up and its hard to take a picture of it all!
Kiddo has received some gorgeous pop-up books, but I think this one really is the best one I've seen EVER. There really is no other word than STUNNING!This would be a great read to me book by Dad or Grandpa, to make a family tradition come alive to the younger generation!
