HELP! Leapster Explorer, Leapster2 or Vtech Mobigo?????

Ok dear readers, I am in a severe quandry and can't seem to find ONE definitive answer, so I've asking ALL of you!

Kiddo is begging for an electronic game system, and I am not opposed to getting her one. I DO have reservations about Leapfrog in general, as every time we get her one of their systems, it seems a new one replaces it before a decent library of titles is established for it, forcing you into the new system.

I want something that will be educational AND fun, and not just about reading.

We have let her play the different systems at the stores and I am even more confused now!

I originally wanted to get her the Vtech Reader, but after seeing her use it multiple times in the store, I think she will be bored with it by February (this is going to be a Christmas present). SO....

I am down to the following choices:
 1. Leapster2- I like that it does NOT have commercials on it, and that the previous Leapster and Didj cartridges will work on it, expanding the available library. PLUS kiddo liked the built in games.

2. Leapster Explorer- I like the great screen and extra capabilities, like downloading ebooks and camera attachment. But limited titles AND at $7.50 per app and having to buy a $13 app card for 1 app, I'm not happy with download extras price.

3. Vtech Mobigo- I like the slide out alpha keyboard to help with letter recognition, but not sure it's used very much in the games, making it sorta redundant and something that will take a beating...Also limited titles.

SIGH.... kiddo knows her numbers and ABCs and is really getting to where she will be ready to start learning to read by the new year. We read to her daily, and she gets alot of alphabet work at school, so I'm not worried that the electronic device has to teach her that. I really want it for math skills, phonics, and reinforcement of vocabulary/spelling.

As all the systems are around the same price, that's not helping to make a choice either! I want something that will last more than 2 years, if at ALL possible!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all your thoughts and help in advance!
