Synopsis: Mama returns in an entirely new experience that will challenge your creativity. Join Mama and her award-winning formula of addictive, stylus-based activities as you sew, mold, paint, cut and much more. Crafting Mama is the only dedicated crafting game that features 40 different craft projects, so you make a new creation every time! Join Mama and her award-winning formula for addictive, stylus-based activities as you sew, mold, paint, cut and much more.
In Crafting Mama, players can create from a range of crafts: paper airplanes, patchwork quilts, earrings, candles, xylophones, kaleidoscopes, birdhouses, flower decorations and even mini Mama dolls! Using the stylus as a universal crafting tool, crafters can sew, mold, glue, cut and paint under Mama’s masterful direction.
Crafting Mama also includes new materials, colors and patterns to customize each project. Plus multiplayer support lets players create with a friend. Crafting Mama is guaranteed to turn Mama fans into crafty creators in no time!”
How your creation ultimately looks depends on how well you perform each step of the activity—get a different result every time! Mama gives you different looks and comments, based on how well you made your craft (which kiddo quickly learned she wanted the verbal high five from Mama!) You also gain badges for every craft you complete, and how many you earn takes away a tile on a picture page (see left for the second we made)!
You can now send adorable crafting gifts to your friends on Facebook using the new Crafting Mama Virtual Gift application! Crafts from the actual game like candles, balloon art, felt dolls and necklaces… and so many more fun gifts can be easily sent to your friends via Facebook and they show up on their wall for everyone to see and enjoy!
This is definitely a game that we will keep on hand for times when we have to wait somewhere, or to use on days when we don't want to bring out all the real craft supplies!
If your kids have a Nintendo DS and like crafts, you'll want to add this one to the gift list!
Disclosure: I received this game, free of charge, for review purposes, from Rogers and Cowan PR. No other compensation, monetary or other, was given for this post. Nor was I told how to post about it.
