Cut toliet paper roll info half cross wise. Cut length of black or brown construction paper and glue around ring. Cut head out of brown or yellow paper, in shape of small spoon. Cut out wattle in red, glue to head. If you want googly eyes, glue in place, or add eyes from construction paper, or draw them on. Glue in place. While the above glue sets, cut out feathers in different colors from construction paper. Glue head onto turkey base. We found that by gluing bottom 'handle' part on and putting a 'bend' in the neck, the face stood upright. Now glue feathers on back of turkey, as many as you want. we started with a row of 3-4, then put a piece of tape across their bottom for insurance, then added another row. Now smile at your turkey and if you want feet you can add chenile stem feet, or some from yellow/orange construction paper. Kiddo decided ours had their feet up under them while sitting, so now feet needed!
