As you know, I have a preference for European made clothing and shoes for kiddo, if at all possible, due to the superior quality and DURABILITY! My new find this week, Start Rite Shoes, fits that ideal!
They have the most adorable childrens boots! Check out these samples:
Flowerchild: A stylish girls boot featuring Start-rite's classic stitch-down soles. Made from suede and nubuck or leather this boot features lace detail, hand stitched floral design and floral eyelets make this a pretty boot that all little girls will love!
Aqua Rainbow: A waterproof boot using the Start-rite technology "Aqua-rite". This fun boot's lining houses the waterproof breathable membrane, ensuring that little feet remain dry and warm. Other features include premium dyed-through leather, side zip entrance for easy access, floral embellishment and lace up detail to the back of the boot.

NOW here's the BEST part- they don't just tell you the size of the fit/shoe in inches, their exclussive Click n Fit program allows you to download a grid sheet, put your child's foot on it, take pictures of their foot, upload to the their site, and waa-la PERSONAL recommendations on sizing for your child! AND they explain WHAT the FIT should be when you receive the boots (or shoes) via short videos on the site! I LOVED the boot video- I never knew about shadow ripple and creases across the top of the boot being indicators of whether a boot fits or not! Now I know what to look for in kiddo's current boots, to determine what SIZE she needs next, so I can order the right ones, saving time and aggravation on returns! YIPPEE- love ya Start Rite!
