Book Review: God Loves Me More Than That by Dandi Daley Mackall; illustrated by David Hohn

god loves me mroe than that cover
How much love does God have for me?
More than the letters between A and Z. More than the bumbles in a bumble bee.
God loves me more than that!

Synopsis: As your child revels in each lively rhyme and engaging illustration from this delightful picture book, they’ll learn that God loves them deeper than a wishing well, wider than a semi-truck, louder than thunder, and softer than a kitten’s sneeze.

Each question, presented with charming child-like faith will help your child grasp the great love of God through comparisons and descriptions they can easily understand. In short, they’ll discover that His love is bigger, wider, higher, and deeper than anything they could imagine!

About the Author: Dandi won her first writing contest as a 10-year-old tomboy. Her 50 words on "Why I Want to Be Batboy for the Kansas City A's" won first place, but the team wouldn't let a girl be batboy. It was her first taste of rejection.

Since then, Dandi Daley Mackall has become an award-winning author of over 400 books for children of all ages, with sales of 4 million copies in 22 countries. Dandi is a national speaker, keynoting at conferences and Young Author events, and has made dozens of appearances on TV, including ABC, NBC, and CBS. Review: As Kiddo is at letter P in learning the alphabet at school the first pages of this adorable caught her eye immediately! She couldn't wait to read it! She loved the poetry and loved talking about EVERY page as we went thru the book the first time. She loved the entire book, as the comparisons were everything she loves (space, football games, kittens, elephants, even oceans! The illustrations are gorgeous and really drew us both into the poetry! I loved how the book went along with her class topics for this month as well. Kiddo couldn't wait to share the book with her class (which she did- they all loved it too)!

This is an adorable book and a perfect for Sunday School class and as a bedtime book before nightly prayers!
