Did you get your Nexxus Pro-Mend Sample in the mail from Walmart yet?
I got mine this weekend and finally had a chance to use it yesterday. Unfortunately, my sample was damaged, so I had very little of the leave in creme to work with, so here is my review of what I was able to use.
The Nexxus Pro Mend line is out to put bad hair days caused by split ends behind you. They claim it will bind up to 92% of split ends back together for hair that looks and feels healthier than ever before. So now, your Tuesday will be a split end healing, fresh-cut feeling kind of day.
Ok, so far I can't wait to try it, BUT like I've ranted on before- if I need multiple DAYS to verify the 92% improvement, wasn't a fluke, then SEND me multiple days worth of samples! My hair is only shoulder length and there was barely enough shampoo/conditioner for ONE use.....SIGH....

Ok, this where my rant comes back in- according to Nexxus, you have to use all THREE products together or the 'binding' does not work, yet, they say THREE washes for the conditioner to actually work properly. URRGGH-and you only send me enough for ONE use.... Did my hair feel stronger/healthier? Softer maybe- stronger in one usage? No, sorry, it was the same...
Again, my package was damaged, so I had very little to work with. I put it on my worst ends and then did worse case scenario, as far as Nexxus is concerned. I went outside in the 80% humidity and let my hair dry while playing with Kiddo on the porch.Yup, you guessed it. That 92%? Try more like 45%. Definitely, NOT the just cut look OR feel. Now I may have needed the extra creme that was missing, OR it just can't combat the humidity. On the Nexxus site they only show lab and inside locations, they don't show model walking into a wall of humidity....and this IS my life- I need a hair care line that CAN deal with humidity. When you have thick wavy hair, there is no option!
So overall impression?
Not bad- I would probably use the trio once a week for the clarifying, if nothing else.Course, I think the Pantene Frizz Control works about the same and is much cheaper. I'm willing to retry the creme, if I can get another sample. $10.00 for less than 5 oz, is not what I want to pay for something that may not be able to standup to Southern humidity!
