Product Review and Giveaway: TruKid Beauty

Kiddo has sensitive skin, so we always on the lookout for soaps and bath bubbles that are gentle on her skin, but do the job they say they will, and that we all like! I was thrilled to find out about TruKid Products and to be able to host a review and giveaway of their products!

TruKid products are BPA and Phthalate free! We make safe products that families can feel good about; our certified organic and natural ingredients are always SLS, paraben, 1-4 Dioxane and Gluten-free! The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has awarded TruKid's entire line the safety rating of 0-3! THE SAFEST RATING of all kid's skin care lines!


We were sent 3 products to review: Shampoo, Face Wash and Lotion. I was very impressed that that they sent us FULL sized samples to try! The packages come in bright kid centric colors and have great pump dispenser tops- I am in love with them!

The Friendly Face Wash is made with natural botanical ingredients, like rosemary, chamomile, balm mint and calendula, that cleanse and soothe the skin. It is a special formulation of both cream and gel cleansers which combine to form a moisturizing, yet light product.  The mint gives it a pleasant smell. Kiddo actually likes to use it as bath soap and I have to admit it keeps her squeaky clean and it makes pretty good suds!


The Silly Shampoo is a mild, safe cleanser for kids' sensitive skin, and hair, that effectively removes surface oil, and dirt, without stripping natural oils. Lightly scented with TruKid’s essential oil blend, there are no parabens, SLS, artificial colors or fragrances in this biodegradable formula. The shampoo has a pleasant light citrusy melon smell. It cleans VERY well. Our only complaint was that you really need to use conditioner after it, if your child has thick or hair that tend to tangles. Kiddo's is both, so we had to use conditioner.


The Super Sensitive Happy Face & Body Lotion is great anytime, day or night, especially after a bath or shower. Apply after you have used TruKid Bubbly Body Wash and TruKid Friendly Face Wash, to help your skin feel moisturized and happy. It has lavender, chamomile and balm mint and a very nice light smell and feel on the skin. Kiddo declared it her favorite!


I am very happy overall with the products and would be willing to order them, although I would probably order the conditioner or the detangler also. I am also interested in trying their Sunny Days SPF +30 Sports Sunscreen this summer!
