I want you to look at the size of this receipt from Winn Dixie Grocery Store I got 3 days ago:
You will note, per the yardstick, it is 18 inches long.
Ok you say, no big deal, right?
Yes, EXCEPT . I ONLY bought FIVE items,
and used one coupon, and had one discount.
I repeat FIVE items!
At this rate, they kill a tree what in 2 hours?
Seriously Winn Dixie, there was NOTHING worth the extra 12 INCHES
of paper you added to the bottom of my receipt!
Take a clue from Walmart (I can SO SO not believe I just said THAT),
and put your store info on the BACK of the ACTUAL
purchase receipt and loose the bull we don't need, and
aren't going to read anyways.
And maybe save a few trees, will ya?
Holy cow!! That is a crazy receipt, I would have thought you purchased 50+ items! I really like that Wells Fargo ATMs have envelope-free check depositing and let you say no to a receipt, too. At first I was paranoid to use them but they scan checks very accurately.
