Why do we love leggings so much?
There are lots of reasons really, here are a few:
They’re a great alternative to jeans and trousers. For little girls, leggings work as well with a tee shirt as jeans do, and they aren’t so bulky. Usually made of soft, supple cotton, they have a lot more give and are easy to move in… making them great for all-day, everyday play. And honestly- Kiddo prefers them over jeans- and she always has! And with the way she grows, a pair of leggings can become a pair of capris very easily! A budget savvy choice!
They’re a great alternative to tights. If your little girl just must wear her new sneakers with the cute mini skirt you bought last week, leggings are a great way to add some extra coverage that stops short at her calves or ankles, and leaving enough space for the socks and tennis shoes she loves… plus they never, ever run.
They keep little legs from scratches, bumps, and bruises. All moms know that playgrounds can be brutal. Leggings protect like shorts just can’t, especially in weather when leggings cover little legs and are also cool and breathable enough to assure you little one’s complete comfort.
There are so many styles and patterns to choose from. No matter what your little girl has chosen from her closet, there’s a good chance that a great pair of leggings can easily be added to complement her ensemble… dressing it up or down to suit the occasion.
