Are you ready for Fall yet?
Here in the Deep South, Fall either comes super late, or comes in fit and spurts. Like this week- Tropical Storm lee brought the weather and humidity WAAAY down. By Monday evening, you needed a light jacket if you were outside late at night. I accidently left my rear windows cracked in the truck and by early morning, all the windows were fogged from the inside! 6 hours later it was still UNDER 70 degrees- yup- FALL weather for us! But as the temp rose in the afternoon, you didn't really need a jacket, but a light shawl, or a pashima. Like one of the leopard print scarf collection from Affordable Scarves!
Which was why I was glad I had requested to review a shawl from Affordable Scarves!
I had selected the Delaney Paisley Scarf in teal, as I knew I could layer it for Fall with a whole bunch of outfits, from casual to dressy! It also comes in gray and black! And at under $20 it is super buy!
As you can see it is of a longer length and it has silver studs down the side and down the back, in a paisley design. So if you wear it around your neck as a traditional scarf, you have the small detail along with a ruffled edge and the great teal color. Or if you wear it over a dress, as a shawl, you have the great design accent. I LOVE it when one piece of clothing can serve multiple purposes!
Not sure how to tie a scarf? Check out the new website, Scarves.net , from Affordable Scarves, for all things scarves, or my bottom bar below for a great link that will help you!
Affordable Scarves has some really great choices and excellent prices- they have short and long scarves, wide scarves and pashimas, in just about every color you can think of! Their search column is wonderful- you can search by time of year, color, size, fabric and even current trends (like floral scarves and ruffle scarves, like mine)!
They also have a great blog, with lots of fashion tips and trend info!
So check out Affordable Scarves today and get a head start not only on your Fall dressing, but on your Christmas gift list (winter items are on clearance for UNDER $5 right now!). Then come back here and enter to win a $20 certificate too!

Those are very pretty and would be great for me too! I don't like to be hot, poor me being from the South as well, it's a given! This would be great to cover up, look smashing and keep me warm, but not too warm! ;)
