Book Review: The Seven Prayers God Always Answers by Jason Frenn

Up today we have a book that is being released today (!!) and is perfect for those new to Christianity and those who may need a boost in their faith!

SynopsisWhat prayer do you want answered?

If you could sit down with God over a cup of coffee, how would you respond if He asked you,"What do you want me to do for you?" (challenging thought isn't it?) What would you ask? The author believes these questions could usher in the greatest breakthrough of the reader's life. He believes that God desires to answer prayer. Yes, everyone's. THE SEVEN PRAYERS GOD ALWAYS ANSWERS offers biblical insights into the power of prayer. It is designed to help readers pray and see the results that they pray for.

This book gives insight into the prayers that God always answers. It will help readers to understand God's heart so that they can pray in accordance with His will. There are many topics of prayer that this book discusses including; praise, thanksgiving, confession, intercession, and petition. Jason Frenn says, "My desire is that this book completely transforms your life!"

About the author: Jason Frenn has held more than 50 international crusades where more than 2 million people have heard the presentation of the Gospel. He has seen more than 200,000 first time decisions for Christ. In addition to being a missionary evangelist, Jason is a bestselling author and has a daily live evangelistic radio program on Radio Nueva Vida with a listening audience of 500,000 people covering parts of Oregon, all of California, and Northern Mexico. Review: Frenn breaks prayer down into 7 areas: Direction, Forgiveness, Freedom, Provision, Healing, Blessing and Salvation. In each chapter he gives you an example story of what he means by the chapter. Then he gives biblical examples of God answering that type of prayer. He follows that up with areas/ways in which the prayers can be answered in your life. The third section is the miracle/hope section where he shows instances where they do occur. And finally he sums up the chapter and brings home key points. All of this makes this an excellent teaching book for bible study/church classes!

Examples of really good insight from the book:

  • Why doesn't God answer my prayer? God answers prayer with one of three responses, yes, no, or wait. In many cases, His answer might be affirmative, but the timing might not be right. So we must wait (which we don;t realize, so we think he is NOT answering). At times, His answer is no, and we find it very difficult to accept that as an answer. Either way, we must exercise patience and faith. All and all, God wants what’s best for our lives, and if we remember that when we pray, we can expect wonderful, even powerful things to occur in our lives (Hebrews 12:5-8).
  • Does prayer change God's mind? If our prayers had no influence, then why would God encourage us to pray? Regardless if they change God’s mind or not, one thing is certain. Prayer changes our circumstances, and they have great impact on our own lives and on the world around us. When it comes to healing us from illness, we need to remember that healing isn't only limited to our earthly bodies, he heals our hearts and souls as well. We do not know God's plan, so he may not heal our body from illness, but heal our heart and soul.  God knows what His will is. He waiting for us to share ours with Him. James 5:16; Exodus 32:11-14.

  • Are there areas where we can expect miracles? Yes! God will provide for our basic needs, financial needs, open new doors/provide opportunities and be a presence in your life, even when you don't realize it. He may not grant you a win in the lottery, but he WILL see that your needs are met IF you let go of avarice, and trust that God will provide. Psalms 125:1-2
This is a great book to read if you are questioning why prayers have not/will be answered by God. Fenn writes in an easily approachable style and it is like talking with a friend, rather than a bible scholar. If you know someone who is in doubt, get them this book! It will answer their questions and strengthen their faith!
