October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
As a Freschetta Fresh Connection Blog member,
I am pleased to announce that Freschetta is launching their
“Proud To Support Pink” program this month in support of Breast Cancer Awareness!
From September 25th-October 31st when you purchase specially marked-packages of Freschetta pizzas and Artisan Pizza Crusts you will be helping Freschetta reach their goal of a $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center! When you enter the codes, from the specially marked packages, at www.ProudToSupportPink.com, the makers of Freschetta products will donate $1 for breast cancer research!
The website is also a place for people to share their personal breast cancer journey, or the journey of a friend or loved one. These stories will be displayed on the website and on the Freschetta Facebook page, to inspire all those who read them. Freschetta is also giving away 50 pink iPod shuffle players each week in October, on the website, to encourage participation and sharing of this program. Additionally, 50 pink iPod Shuffle players will be donated each week in October to four cancer centers around America to be enjoyed by breast cancer patients during treatments. So by entering to win, your sharing the love!
Freschetta send it's Blog Connection members each a free coupon to try a new Freschetta pizza along with not one, but 2 pairs of "Proud to be Pink" earphones! One for me to keep, and one to share with a friend or loved one!
They came in this adorable pink net bag, and I was thrilled to be able to give a pair to my best friend, who has seen me through a whole lot this year, including a scare with pre-cancerous cells! She has done marathons in memory of her mother, who died of cancer, so I felt they truly belonged to her! The earphones work really great and Kiddo is already trying to 'steal' mine, as she's going through a 'everything pink' phase!
We used our coupon for the new Freschetta Simple Inspired Hawaiian Pizza- it has Canadian bacon, pineapple, bacon, sweet bbq sauce and mozarella cheese. YUM! We loved Hawaiian style since I was a kid, and the Freschetta pizza was pretty good for being frozen! Check out the other selections and you'll want to try one for yourselves! You can get a $1 coupon from the Freschetta website, to try one of their great pizzas, and help make that $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center!
Now enter to win and share Freschetta's greatness with your family and friends!
