Well Fall weather is here and you KNOW what that means! Pull out the sweaters and sweatshirts! Then hang your head when you realize your kid(s) have outgrown all of last years and you have to get all new ones, but you're on a budget! What to do? I HAVE the answer for you!

AND best of all, they have LOTS of colors and styles to choose from! This is not just sales on one or two odd colors! This is a full range per style (except for their clearance items, naturally).

I recently got the chance to try not one, but 3 different styles from their excellent website!


First off was new sweatshirts for Kiddo- the child has grown almost 3 INCHES since last Fall and gone up 2 sizes- Yup, NOTHING fits!

1. Jerzees Youth Light-Weight Crewneck Sweatshirt- it came in PINK, which is a serious phase Kiddo is going through right now, so she was tickled pink (pun intended!). At UNDER $10 it is a bargain too! It is a 50/50 lighter weight (8oz.)"NuBlend" Fabric, so it isn't bulky at all on Kiddo. With a rib collar/cuffs/waistband, and double stitching throughout, it is sturdy and will be able to stand up to all the stress that a 4yr old can put it through! Now Kiddo DID ask for a John Deere applique on the front, cause it's 'John Deere' pink, but we'll see about that...I did order a size Small, and Kiddo is really in between XS and S, so that's why it's a little baggy, but the way she is growing, it should be fine to get her through Spring!

2. Rabbit Skins Toddler Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt- the second selection for Kiddo was a zip hoodie, which she has been after me to get for her, because she is 'a big girl'. It is  also of a lighter weight, and is 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Kiddo doesn't like heavy sweatshirts, so this will be perfect for layering as well. It has a Jersey-lined hood, two front pockets, and ribbed cuffs/waistband. This one also appears to be sturdily made, so it should last pretty well. As you can see she loves it equally well, as red is her 'all-time fav' color!  The only issue we're having is with the zipper, as it hasn't loosened up enough and she's a little hard on them (hence, not having many zip jackets before!). I think a little bees wax soap and it will be fine. This one I ordered in 5/6, and as you can see, it is also roomy on her. In fact, I would say the 2 sweatshirts measure just about the same on width and length. This is the more expensive of the 2, but still under $17 can't be beat, for a great quality hoodie, that will LAST! 

The third selection we received was a long-sleeve t-shirt for me (!!)


3.  Bella Ladie's Long Sleeve T-Shirt- In Chocolate Brown. The fabric is 100% ringspun cotton, so it is super soft and has that worn in feel from out of the bag. The sleeves are LONG and have a slight bell shape flare at the bottom for more style. While I did good in sizing for Kiddo, this one looked fine, but was too tight to me (I like my t-shirts loose), but it will be fine for layering, as it is so lightweight! Next time, I will either order a next size up, or from the mens section and probably have a better fit (for me). But at under $11 these really are steals!
